New Years Day Parade

Oddly there were many American cheerleaders in the New Years Day Parade. Although judging by the reactions of the male members of the crowd the organisers knew what they were doing.

And of course to accompany the cheerleaders there where the matching marching bands. Oddly they didn't provoke as much interest in the crowd as the cheerleaders did.

Another parade entry, a rather well designed dragon. He was also a foreigner, a ring-in promoting an Italian arts festival.

One of the relatively few English entries (well except for all the London bourghs who'd also had to enter. The only decent display was by the bourgh of Westminster who'd gotten a lot of tanks and drove them through the streets. We hope there were still a few left to guard Parliment). Would a parade be a parade without a large inflated Noddy?
